What is Gobza?
Gobza was introduced to me by a fellow internet marketing that sent me an invitation by email. In short, Gobza provides a way for businesses to advertise for free by providing offers and deals (called GobzaOffers). Shoppers can sign up for free and take advantage of the GobzaOffers the next time they need to purchase a product or service.
Business have always been able to compete with each other based on the amount of money they’re willing to invest in advertising and promotions. So, some business certainly do better than others because they can invest more in their advertising program, spread the word and increase their brand awareness. My understanding is Gobza changes all of this. Business are forced to compete based on the offer alone. So, if I want to go out to eat in my city, I can search Gobza for Mexican food. The results will display based on the amount of discount being offered. So businesses must compete on the offer alone! This is great for the shopper and great for the business since their advertising campaign is free.
Considering Gobza is free for everyone, wouldn’t you think word would travel fast and everyone would be running to get signed up (both business and shoppers)? This is Gobza’s prediction and I think a pretty good one. In addition to offering a great product, they’ve figured out a way to spread the word via viral marketing and at the same time help people earn money by helping. Gobza is by invitation only. So, when I signed up, I received an invitation link created for me to use to invite others. I can pass that link onto my Twitter followers, Facebook friends and so on. Everone wins if my friends sign up and use a GobzaOffer to make a purchase. The business wins because they generated revenue through the sale of their product, the shopper wins because they got a good deal and I win because I helped make all this happen and get paid a small commission or reward. Very cool!
